Invalid.
The argument is of the form: If A, then B. Given: not A Conclusion: not B The condition "A" is merely sufficient, not necessary for "B". This means that in the absence of "A", "B" may or may not occur. Since both "B" and "not B" are possible outcomes, the argument is invalid. Trackbacks
