Snowballs
A snowball rolls down a hill gathering snow as it rolls and keeping
perfectly spherical shape as it goes. At the instant it is half of the
way down the hill it has a volume of 2000 cm 3
and its volume is increasing at the rate of 20 cm
3 per cm. of travel down the hill. At what rate
per cm is the radius of the snowball increasing at that instant?
